Preferences
Preferences is an opportunity for you to customize the look and feel of UUpdates. Then if you like you can share those settings with others, or with other computers you use, or you can even bring UUpdates onto your own website with a little bit of HTML code. No need to modify it, just cut and paste. Here is a little bit more information about the various options.
Sites
Do you only want to track a handful of sites listed on UUpdates? Or maybe there are a few that you don't want to follow. No problem, just click over to Sites and select the sites you want to track. You can choose to save your settings for the visit (session for you techies) or save the settings for future visits (via coookies for you techies). Once you select any one site to exclude you can add other by clicking the “info” link off the front page.
Theme
Don't like the colors? You have a few options you can select from by clicking on Theme. If you don't like any of those feel free to create a theme of your own and send it my way to make it an option. You can also select the number of items to display per page and length of descriptions.
Links
Since most of the options you can select will be saved on your computer in a way that is not easy to share I created some links to allow you to easily share those choices. Links gives you links that will keep any custom choices you have made on the site.
JavaScript
Want to bring UUpdates onto your website? You can use this little bit of HTML to have UUpdates appear on your website. One blog, a handful, all UUpdates whatever you like. JavaScript can be customized to display any set of options on the site.
