Feel free to leave requests for added features/functionality to the site here. Allow Customization of Feeds TrackedNot everyone is interested in seeing the updates from every site listed. Nor would they necessarily agree on which sites should be included. Please create a method to customize the list of sites that are tracked. I am working on that functionality, and it will be there in 2 different capacities, or at least that's the plan. Unfortunatly with the flu and such it has been slow going. Once it is in place this should reduce some of the issues with seeing updates from sites that someone is not interested in. Currently it can be tested at http://uupdates.net/rainbow.php
Please remove...“The Emerson Avenger” from the RSS feed. Robin Edgar's so called “blog” is merely a rambling crusade against Unitarian Universalism and Unitarian Universalists, and actively engages in slander against anyone he feels has “wronged” him. This behavior should not be encouraged, or included in this resource along with serious UU writers. (anonymous to avoid the trolling/spamming that results from direct confrontation with the above subject) My hope in allowing Robin Edgar to be listed was that if he felt he had a voice in the UU blogosphere he would not feel the need to troll/spam other sites. Please remove...Please remove the “UUWiki?-Recent changes [en]” site from your RSS digest. Whenever they make small changes to the UUWiki? site, which is frequently, a mention of each individual change turns up as a separate entry in your digest, and they end up crowding out more substantive content from other blogs. Hopefully this one will also be addressed by the customize features I am working on. I agree it gets annoying especially when a series of Wikispammers trash the site. But I do follow the site, and when changes are made it is nice to know about them. For example when the list of UU podcasts are updated. Unfortunatly the “signal to noise” has been pretty bad with UUwiki? as of late with far more junk posts making it in than substantial updates. i have made modifications to reduce the amount of updates from the site. And increased the security of the spam blocking at UUwiki? (but it still could get better).
Add a Time Stamp to Headlines that do not have themSome software that creates the RSS feeds do not include a time stamp for the headline. This means that they can not be sorted in latest headlines. Can you add a timestamp for these items? Done 2/15/2010.
Make it faster!Sometimes it takes a few seconds to load the page and I have a high speed connection, make it faster. It's not like there is a ton of images or anything. Now that the site is pulling from a SQL database it's running a lot faster. Response and processing time are under a second in most cases. JohnCooley October 31, 2005, at 04:36 PM
